Q. What fonts are available for personal monograms?
A. Our most popular fonts are in the catalog below. We can turn most true type fonts into stitches, so if you need something else let us know. We'll be happy to check into it and let you know if it's possible. Some items are limited to certain fonts, and if so, they're noted in the item descriptions. This is a large files so you may want to right click and save to your computer.
Monogram Choices

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash, checks, and all forms of PayPal payments. When paying by check, an order is completed and shipped once the payment has been received and posted by our bank.
Q. Do you have minimums?
A. Most of our embroidered items do not require minimums. We can complete any quantity on embroidery 1-500+. In certain cases, it is unwise to order in low quantities due to shipping costs & set-up charges. For hats, we charge a $25 set-up fee for quantities below 12.Q. Can I mix sizes and colors?
A. Yes, if each item you order uses the same embroidery design, placement & thread colors. You may combine items of the same style and embroidery location. For instance, if you order a variety of polos requiring the same design setup then you will qualify to receive the volume discounts on the total number of polos embroidered. Volume discounts on the actual apparel are within a family of products. For instance, in the same style you can choose ladies, men’s, youth, in a variety of sizes and colors to meet minimum requirements. You can't choose 3 totes, 3 baby blankets, and 8 polos to meet requirements for quantity discounts because they may be coming from different warehouses. Discounts on items and embroidery begin at 12 pieces. Because embroidery on headwear requires a special setup we do require a minimum of 12 pieces on headwear, or we charge a $25 setup fee.
Screen printing is expensive at low quantities, so we normally require a 4 dozen minimum. Please remember that screen setup charges for low quantities are not cost effective for you.

When sending embroidery art, send 100 dpi or better in one of the following formats... jpg, bmp, eps, pdf, tif, ai. As in all apparel decoration, the better the artwork, the better the finished product. Shipping is based on weight & zip code and will be quoted at completion of order based on UPS rates. Please, notify whether shipping to business or residential areas.
Take advantage of our stock embroidery designs and customized lettering.
A rush charge of $25 or 30% is applied if deadline is within 3 days of artwork approval (whichever is greater). Production schedule on up to 72 pieces is expected to be 7-10 business days from receipt of art, merchandise, and final order approval. Larger quantities require individual production estimates.
Minimum quantity on hat embroidery is 12 pieces or you will have a $25 set-up fee.

Q. What is Embroidery Digitizing and what is the cost?
A. Digitizing is the process of taking the customer’s artwork or digital picture and converting the design into stitches that are stored in a computer file which the embroidery machine can read. Sew Creative Embroidery charges $4.00/1000 stitches with a minimum of $45. To begin digitizing a design a charge of $45 will be collected and you will be charged for the difference upon completion of approved design.
We accept artwork in the following formats: jpg, bmp, eps,
pdf, tif, ai. Artwork must be clear. We prefer ai, eps, pdf, or high resolution jpg. As with any digital process, the better the image the better the final product. Send to cheryl@embroideryonline.biz.
To order digitizing choose Custom Digitizing from the online shopping menu. To get started the fee is $45. The final price is based on the stitch count. The cost is $4.00/1000 stitches with a $45 minimum. You will be billed the difference once the design has been completed. When checking out, choose PayPal; we take all forms of PayPal. You can type any additional instructions in the comment section when checking out or email cheryl@embroideryonline.biz.
We will generally have a design digitized and ready for your approval within 2 business days.
Q. What if I have a design that is already digitized?
A. If we digitized the design then you will not be charged again for this design if no changes are made. Minor (up 20%) edits to the digitized design cost $25, (21% to 75%) major edits cost $45 regardless of the stitch count. If design changes are over 75% then it is considered a new design and regular digitizing fees will apply. We are very careful about others' digitizing, we will stitch a design digitized by another only after inspecting the design and performing a test stitch.
Q. What is a set-up fee and what is the cost?
A. A set-up fee is charged by many companies to cover the cost of time involved in setting up embroidery or print jobs.
We don't currently charge a set up fee for typical stock design orders.
Q. Will you embroider items sent to you?
A. Yes, we provide this service to individuals and businesses. Larger jobs are generally completed for businesses, organizations and sports teams. Larger jobs are classified by a minimum of 36 pieces with the same setup. Embroidering your items requires extra care because we are not supplying the items and it is the nature of the business that the machines can periodically damage a product. If this occurs, our embroidery liability is limited to refund the cost of embroidery for that item. We generally recommend that the customer supply 2% more than the order calls for (typically called underun/overrun) or the customer must accept shortages or supply replacements.
Small, custom jobs require that we use extra care as well. These jobs may be very personal items that are difficult to replace or one of kind family heirlooms. Damaged goods are rare but it is a possibility so please make sure that you're willing to take the risk before you proceed with your order. Again, our liability is limited to refund the cost of embroidery.
Q. What is the cost for embroidery when I send my own items?
A. Monogramming on your items will be up to one and a half times the price of items purchased from us. Just refer to the chart above.
Some bags add $1 each to the application fee.

Q. How will I receive my order?
A. We will deliver to your door (save your gasoline & your time). Local delivery is available at a $6 charge. Ground shipping is the least expensive UPS method. If you are shipping items to us, send an e-mail to cheryl@embroideryonline.biz so we can provide your decoration cost beforehand. All orders require prepayment. We can invoice you by email or through PayPal. Standard UPS shipping rates will apply on the return shipment.

Q. Where are you located?
A. We are located in LaFayette, Georgia on Diamond Circle. Please call to make an appointment and get directions if you wish to pick up items directly from this location.
Q. How do I determine my size?
A. If you don't see a sizing chart on the order pages for your items, contact us with your product list and we will send specifications for those items.
Q. How do I select thread color for personalization or monogramming?
A. Our basic colors are listed in our Monogram Catalog and on several items in our online shopping area. These are just our basic colors as we currently have over 60 thread colors in stock. If you have a special request please type it in the comment section when checking out of the shopping cart. If we need to custom match thread on larger orders, please allow an additional 2 business days for the possibility of having to custom order thread.
Q. What typefaces or fonts are available with embroidery?
A. Please check the Monogram Catalog at the top of this page for our most common monogram choices. However, we can stitch the majority of true type fonts depending on the font and the monogram size. The catalog has a few of our most common fonts for personalizing but we literally have thousands available.
If you have a special font request please email for approval prior to shopping. We'll let you know if it's possible.
Q. How do I pick the embroidery location?
A. If you don't reference a location we will place it in the most frequently used location. For instance, a polo logo would be placed on the left chest area. You should also note the desired placement for individual names in the comments section of your order when you choose additional personalization. Normally it's placed on the right chest area if you have a logo on the left chest. (Double check all spelling before ordering... your text will be cut from your order & pasted directly into the embroidery program. ALL CAPS may cause additional charges.)
Some items dictate the placement of the design and the maximum embroidery area. We will notify you if an item's features won't allow decoration per your description. Hard to place embroidery may incur additional costs.
If you have a special request for placement, please enter your request in the comments section when checking out. If we can accommodate your request we will, if not we will contact you via e-mail or phone for further instructions. Please make sure you list all contact information in your orders and emails. If you require a specific location, no options, and are not sure if it's possible, you should contact us before going through the ordering process.
Q. How much for shipping?
A. During the check out process you will be given a choice of shipping methods. The most economical is USPS or UPS ground shipping. The freight cost is calculated based on the weight of the products you have chosen, the USPS and UPS published rates, and your location.
Q. What is your return policy?
A. We cannot accept returns on decorated, worn, washed or discounted garments under any conditions. Please call if you .have any issues with a shipment; we will make every attempt to rectify. We pride ourselves in our service so we are greatly interested in your comments & ensuring you are pleased with your purchase.
Please call before you return any items for instructions and approval. All approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, and you are responsible for the return shipping. Send an e-mail to cheryl@embroideryonline.biz with your return request and order details. We always suggest that you review manufacturers specifications for care instructions and expected shrinkage.
Digitizing art charges can not be reimbursed. Detail all digitizing requirements from the beginning.
Q. I want Sponge Bob Squarepants stitched on a shirt, can you stitch it?
A. No, it's illegal. Copyright laws apply to embroidery. We can provide original digitizing for you on your original artwork or we can combine a variety of stock designs to achieve the look you want. We can not violate copyright laws.
You must own the rights to any logo you submit to us for any decoration process.
Q. May I cancel an order?
A. You probably won't have time, so please be sure before you place your order.
Your order is in motion by the end of the business day even if you have an estimated delivery time of 2 weeks. If you cancel an order then you must pay a restocking fee of 25%, plus any fees incurred, and all shipping costs incurred.
Note: Be sure before you order, because the order process starts immediately. It costs everyone to reverse a purchase so be confident of your purchase decision before purchasing.
